Netflix dropped the teaser of Jennifer Lopez starrer sci-fi action movie, ‘Atlas.’

Netflix has dropped the teaser of one of the most anticipated action movies, Atlas, and Jennifer Lopez looks stunning in action in the sci-fi horror. Lopez made her Netflix return after appearing in last year’s action hit The Mother. Following the release of the teaser, fans took to social platforms to hail the action star.

Jennifer Lopez starrer Atlas has been in the constant buzz following the announcement of the movie by Netflix. In the first teaser, she goes beyond Earth after enlisting for a mission to capture a robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. Lopez played a data analyst, Atlas Shepherd who makes her last attempt to save humanity.

“Shepherd is a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it,” the official synopsis reads.

As the teaser revealed, Shepherd must push herself beyond the limit to survive and save humanity against the uprising of AI. The teaser looks promising, Lopez is stranded in a distant world and calling for help with a distress signal. Netflix also shared a poster of the movie with Lopez in her spaceship chased by robots.

Fans Are Loving Atlas Already

Atlas has been one of the few most anticipated Netflix action movies.  Set in a high-tech and futuristic world, “Atlas is a galaxy-spanning adventure.” As Netflix dropped the first teaser, fans celebrated the actor’s upcoming thriller with open arms.

The movie also stars Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Gregory James Cohan, Abraham Popoola, Lana Parrilla and Mark Strong.

Atlas is set to hit Netflix on Netflix May 24.
