The Sopranos created by David Chase had a solid 6 season run while earning astonishing acclaim throughout. The series is considered one of the classics in the crime drama genre and rightfully got the status with the prowess of captivating narrative. The Penguin star Cristin Milioti who plays Sofia Falcone recently revealed that she wanted to watch the show at a very young age but could not afford the network. Interestingly, she appeared in the show as Catherine Sacrimoni, daughter of New York mobster John “Johnny Sack” Sacrimoni. Milioti appeared in three episodes of The Sopranos.

“The Sopranos was my, I, that was my first time on a set. I mean, it was my first job and I didn’t know the show because I couldn’t afford HBO so I knew it was a big show but I’d never seen it in fact, I didn’t watch it until two years ago, and turn out it is the best show of all time so that’s that was fun to learn but I think that that sort of helped me because I was so sort of I was like so new I mean I was 20 years old 19 maybe and I’d like, never didn’t know how cameras worked,” Milioti told MovieZine.

She recalls their early experiences working with director Steve Bashi, expressing how they had always been a fan of his work. Despite being new to the industry, they were deeply appreciative of how incredibly kind and warm Bashi was, making them feel safe and supported. “I continue to love him in everything that he does and he was so incredibly kind to me and so um warm and wonderful and made me feel really safe and you know didn’t have to because I wasn’t like a big you know I I come on for like a couple lines that’s you know I’m and I’m like an itty bitty baby I’m so brand new,” she added.

“I really felt like you know I could go to the ends of the Earth with him and we we’d be like in lock step together um and I just think he’s he’s so fabulous in this he’s extraordinary so it was a pleasure to work with him to know him as to love him.”
