In the lead-up to the highly anticipated release of Eddington, Emma Stone has made a candid confession about her co-star, Pedro Pascal. The Oscar-winning actress recently made headlines after openly praising Pascal in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with guest host Diego Luna. While the duo has always had great chemistry, Stone took her admiration to a whole new level when she said with a smile, “He’s so wonderful. He’s talented. He’s gorgeous. He’s nice, he’s funny. I’d f*ck him!”
Emma Stone Can’t Stop Raving About Pedro Pascal

Emma Stone and Pedro Pascal are co-stars in Ari Aster’s upcoming Western action-comedy Eddington, which hits theaters July 18. The film, set in a fictional New Mexico town during the COVID-19 era, explores a tense rivalry between a small-town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) and the mayor (Pedro Pascal).
But it’s the off-screen charm of Pascal that’s grabbing just as much attention. During their interview, Luna joked about the viral Cannes Film Festival moment when a bee nearly ambushed Stone on the red carpet. Pascal and Austin Butler jumped into action, trying to save her from the flying intruder. “I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro,” Stone laughed. “He probably unleashed that bee.”
Luna also teased that Pascal might be Hollywood’s most talked-about star at the moment. And Stone was quick to agree, noting, “He’s everywhere. I guess it’s not a Pedro-ssance. It’s the Pedro takeover.”
It’s super hard to disagree with Stone, as Pascal has proved to be one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood with his roles including The Last of Us, Materialists, Eddington, and the MCU’s highly anticipated, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and several other projects.
It’s not just Stone who’s caught up in Pascal fever. Luna joked, “Pedro has become the new Coca-Cola!”
Stone, meanwhile, isn’t slowing down either. Following Eddington, she’ll return in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia this October and reprise her iconic role in Cruella 2.
What is Eddington about?

Eddington follows in a small New Mexico town during May 2020. A growing feud between the town’s sheriff, played by Joaquin Phoenix, and its mayor, portrayed by Pedro Pascal, pulls the community into chaos. As their personal conflict heats up, neighbors take sides, turning the town into a battleground.
The rift starts as a political standoff, but soon it grows into something much bigger. Fear and distrust ripple through the streets as old friendships crack under pressure.
Written and directed by Ari Aster, Eddington also stars Austin Butler as Vernon Jefferson Peak (a radical cult leader). Additionally, Luke Grimes plays Guy, a steady hand at the sheriff’s office, while Micheal Ward steps in as Michael, a young trainee caught in the town’s unraveling. Deirdre O’Connell takes on the role of Dawn, mother to Louise, offering a grounded voice amid the chaos. The ensemble also features Amélie Hoeferle as Sarah, Clifton Collins Jr. as Lodge, and William Belleau as Officer Butterfly Jimenez, each adding layers to the story. Rounding out the cast are Matt Gomez Hidaka as Mayor Garcia’s son Eric, Cameron Mann as Brian, Landall Goolsby as Will, Elise Falanga as Nicolette, and Robert Mark Wallace as Warren—residents swept into the conflict that splits Eddington apart.
Eddington has claimed a 67% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Eddington is set for a July 18 release.
