In a video statement it was said that she is receiving chemotherapy treatment for cancer. She went through an abdominal surgery and only after that it was confirmed that the cancer had been found. Britain’s King Charles, Prince Harry and political leaders came together to offer their support to her.
King Charles III is “so proud” of Kate Middleton’s “courage”
Following the announcement by the Princess of Wales about her Cancer, personalities across the world offered their support to her.
In a statement from Buckingham Palace, King Charles said he was proud of his daughter-in-law “for her courage in speaking as she did.” (Via BBC)
The statement said that after their time in hospital together, the king has “remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks”.
It added that the king and queen “will continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time”.
Prince Harry and Meghan sent a message saying: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.” (Via BBC)
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in a statement posted on social media that the princess has “the love and support of the whole country as she continues her recovery.”

King Charles III Himself is Battling with Cancer
The king is battling pancreatic cancer. Buckingham Palace said the king “remains wholly positive about his treatment”.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “During the king’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”
Charles became king after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022. He formally accepted the royal title at his coronation in May next year.
