Fans are not happy with Dave Bautista’s ‘The Killer’s Game’ trailer for one particular reason.

Dave Bautista’s new movie The Killer’s Game trailer was recently dropped by Lionsgate and fans are worried that the studio has ruined the essence of the narrative by showing most of the plot in the trailer itself. Understandably, the studio needed something to hold on to while introducing the characters but in that process, as fans believe, most of the intricate details have been unveiled.

Lionsgate Dropped The Killer’s Game Trailer

Dune and Marvel star Dave Bautista is set to lead the J. J. Perry-directed action flick The Killer’s Game for Lionsgate. The studio has already dropped the trailer for the movie. The wrestler-turned-actor will play veteran assassin, Joseph Flood in the movie. The official synopsis of the movie reads as follows—

“In the new action-comedy ‘The Killer’s Game’, when top hitman Joe Flood is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself. But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”

The movie is extensively followed by action after Flood is haunted by several assassins, the narrative will revolve around his attempt to save himself and his former girlfriend, Maize played by Rebel Moon actor Sofia Boutella.

Fans Are Disappointed After Watching The Killer’s Game Trailer

The Killer’s Game trailer promised an action-packed comedy but several fans claimed that most of the plot of the narrative has been unveiled in the trailer itself killing the curiosity. The lack of curiosity among fans may severely impact the box office numbers but before that fans have responded to the trailer of the movie on X.

Bautista’s new action movie is based on a book by Jay R. Bonansinga of the same name. The Killer’s Game reunites Bautista with his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy star Pom Klementieff who will play Marianna. The movie also stars Ben Kingsley as Zvi, Terry Crews as Lovedahl, Scott Adkins as Angus Mackenzie, WWE Superstar  Drew McIntyre as Rory Mackenzie, and Daniel Bernhardt as Radovan.

The Killer’s Game is slated for September 13, 2024 release.
