Although Spider-Man 4 has been confirmed by Marvel Boss Kevin Feige, franchise producer Amy Pascal, and star Tom Holland; the highly awaited movie has been on a bumpy developmental road. Recently, a new update on the movie by industry insider Daniel Richtman has yet again reported that the upcoming Marvel and Sony collaborative venture will have a major storyline change.
Previously, the movie was rumored to be a grounded street-level Spider-Man narrative complementing the needs of most fans. However, the new update has revealed that Holland’s movie will follow the same multiversal pattern despite the immense fatigue of fans.
The movie reportedly underwent plot changes that nullified the previously assumed grounded narrative. Still, the movie got the filming update from the insider as he revealed that the production of the movie begins next year and is set between Doomsday and the Secret Wars release date. But again, the movie is yet to book a director.

The new Spider-Man 4 update has made fans worried about the upcoming installment as many have expected that following Dr. Strange’s spell, Peter Parker will have a new narrative as a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man with no one knowing his real identity. However, the Multiverse is not over and Marvel will need the character in the upcoming Avengers movies— Doomsday and Secret Wars.
Regardless, Holland is returning to his role but so far, it is hard to say where the narrative will take the titular Web-Crawler.
