Ever since James Gunn announced that he is revamping DC Universe following his takeover (with Peter Safran) with David Corenswet starrer Superman, the buzz surrounding the project has been intense and massive. Of course, there have been several rumors surrounding the movie but Gunn has always made sure to debunk most of them on his social handles. Now, several set photos from the upcoming movie have been leaked.
Superman Set Photos Leaked Unveiling Details Of Superman
David Corenswet’s Superman costume is very different from his predecessor Henry Cavil who served as the Man of Steel in the Snyderverse as one of the most captivating versions of the character. While Cavill’s Superman suit had a modern touch, James Gunn gave Corenswet kind of a retro look to sustain a classic vibe of the character. Fans have had a glimpse of what the new costume of Superman looks like but the cape and several details were missing from the previous picture.
Now, as the new images from the set made it to the public, we have a sense of his complete costume. Corenswet’s Superman suit will have the infamous Superman red trunk contrary to Cavill’s, the trunk is complemented with a yellow belt. Further, the color of the cape looks more vibrant red, a bit more saturated than the previous Man of Steel. The Superman emblem is attached to the back of his cape as well.
While some fans are praising the costume of Corenswet, some are still not getting over Cavill’s version of the suit of the DC’s one of the most iconic superheroes. Regardless, the set photos reveal the excruciating details of how, from the narrative point of view, the new costume would differ from Snyder’s version of the character.
Superman Set Photos Revealed First Look Of Rachel Brosnahan and Edi Gathegi
James Gunn’s Superman is currently in production and new leaked images from the set also revealed the first looks of Rachel Brosnahan and Edi Gathegi in the movie. Brosnahan is set to play Loise Lane, a Daily Planet reporter, love interest, and close colleague of Clark Kent.
Gathegi’s first look as Michael Holt aka Mister Terrific has been unveiled as well, the actor was seen in a Black and White jacket and pants complementing the comic-accurate look. See Photos—

The hype of the movie further increased after the release of the leaked photos. The looks of other characters are yet to be unveiled but now we have a sense of where Gunn is going with his new DC movie. Judging by the cast for the characters, the new Superman movie will focus more on the Earthly narrative.
