“I love, I love music you know what I mean and it’s something that’s been special to me I think being in the music industry maybe it didn’t kill the joy of music but it, it’s when you put music and business together sometimes it’s it cannot feel so good,” Zendaya said.

The actor went on to add that she might release another studio album in the future. “Yeah. So you know, I think if the right timing and it came, I like creating it like again for myself but if there was a moment maybe I would you know put out a little something.”

However, the Marvel star urged her fans not to put their high hopes regarding a music album from her. “Now don’t get crazy we’ll see but I but maybe, maybe,” she added.

Zendaya Never Played Tennis Before Her Challenger Role

Zendaya’s Challengers role challenged her to play tennis, a sport that she never played before. “I have no, no. I have not, I have not,” she told Hudson when asked if she had prior experience playing tennis.

“You see, the extent of my tennis playing abilities, I went to like a tennis playing camp thing with my grandma when I was like seven for like three days I think a few days um and that’s it so I really have no tennis back around,” Zendaya said. But when it came to the film she revealed, “we had an incredible tennis coach. We had so much support we had amazing tennis doubles as well.”

Also Zendaya thought that the sport was easy but once she got her hands on the game she realized the intensity of it. “For me, like when I started learning the tennis, I was like, oh my gosh, like this is way harder than I could have ever anticipated because I don’t know, something in you is like when you watch someone do you’re like okay like yeah, I could do that and then you get up there and you can’t do that all right.”

The actress further revealed the preparation for her role as she “started kind of understanding tennis which is watching a lot of tennis.”

She added, “just really submersing myself in the world of tennis and watching so many matches and, um, and then making a mistake of thinking like, ‘oh I can do that’ and then I got there and it was it’s extremely difficult and unless you have like been learning it since you were like three years old, it’s not just an easy thing to just pick up um so I was like how am I going to how am I going to figure this out how am I going to do this.”

The capacity of what the actress portrayed on screen was very smooth, and for that, she has developed a unique approach that worked in her favor.

When almost all doors were closed to elevate her training for the film smoothly, Zendaya’s new development in the role significantly improved. “And so my approach kind of became through like a dance background,” she told Hudson.

“Right, so I was like let me try to learn this like choreography. And like because we, everything was shot listed there’s a lot of tennis sequences that have been shot and each moment is kind of choreographed and each shot is choreographed so it allowed for me to me in my tennis double.”

The actress went on to add, “I just mirrored her and tried to like sync up with her as much as I could I wanted it to be like a mirror and you know not be able to tell the difference except she’s has a ball and I don’t you know what I mean so um that’s how I tried to approach it um and then I was just like please anybody just tell if it looks bad just be honest with me you know um but it was it was really cool.”

Challengers is a delicate romantic sports drama with Zendaya playing the lead, Tashi Duncan. The movie also stars, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.

Challengers is now showing in theaters.
