For Smith, as he revealed on the Hot Ones episode, The Pursuit of Happyness starring alongside his son Jaden Smith tops the list of the best movies of his career. Smith claimed an Oscar nod for his role in Gabriele Muccino’s emotion-packed melodrama. “I think the best individual movie, all around, that I’ve ever made is The Pursuit of Happyness,” Smith said.

The actor further named a few movies which also contributed a great deal to define his career as an actor. “Right behind that is the first Men In Black. The direction, cinematography and music,” Smith said of Barry Sonnenfeld-directed 1997 movie Men in Black which also stars Tommy Lee Jones.

The Ali star further revealed that he had most fun making Bad Boys and Aladdin. “I think among them the most fun I’ve ever had making a movie is, like, Bad Boys and Aladdin, like, just the most, the most fun… If I had to put four of them in a time capsule it would be The Pursuit of Happyness, the first Men In Black, I Am Legend,” he added.

The actor also hailed Reinaldo Marcus Green’s acclaimed movie, King Richards where he played Richard Williams, the father of tennis legends, Serena and Venus Williams, “and probably King Richard,” he concluded.

Many dubbed the movie as one of the most inspirational movies of all time.
