Lady Gaga appears ready to begin a new chapter in her personal life. The global pop icon recently hinted that her wedding to fiancé Michael Polansky may arrive sooner than fans expected. During a radio appearance, the Abracadabra singer casually revealed that the couple plan to tie the knot soon after spending much of the year travelling together.
While Gaga stays in the public eye, Polansky prefers a quieter presence beside her. The tech entrepreneur has played an important role in her life and creative work in recent years. Their relationship has grown from a low-key romance into a partnership that is now expanding into an eternal partnership.
All About Lady Gaga’s Fiancé Michael Polansky

Michael Polansky keeps a relatively low profile compared with his superstar partner. A graduate of Harvard University, he studied applied mathematics and computer science before moving into the world of technology and philanthropy.
Polansky currently works as an entrepreneur and investor. He also serves as executive director of the Parker Foundation, a philanthropic organisation focused on global health, life sciences and civic engagement. Alongside that work, he co-founded the skincare research company Outer Biosciences and supports several charitable initiatives.
Despite his corporate career, Polansky has gradually stepped into Lady Gaga’s creative orbit. He collaborated on her 2025 album Mayhem, helping co-write several songs and serving as a co-producer. His presence even shaped the emotional core of one track. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song Blade of Grass, Gaga shared a memory that stayed with her long after the moment passed.
“As a songwriter you need life to inspire your writing and if everything is promotion, then I’ll write about promotion and I won’t write about that special moment I shared with you where Michael asked me how I would want him to propose to me one day.”
She continued by recalling the conversation that sparked the idea for the song. “We were in our backyard and I said, ‘Just take a blade of grass and wrap it around my finger,'” she continued. “And then I wrote ‘Blade of Grass’ because I remembered the way his face looked and I remembered the grass in the backyard and I remember thinking he should use that really long grass that’s in the center of the backyard.”
Lady Gaga Rings Wedding Bell With Michael Polansky

Gaga recently offered a rare update about her wedding plans while leaving a voice message during Bruno Mars’ iHeartRadio livestream Romantic Radio.
“Hi, Bruno. Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we’re getting married soon,” Gaga said in the voice message that played during the show. “We were hoping that maybe you could choose a special song for us.”
Mars quickly recognised the caller. “I know that voice,” Mars said with a smile. “That is my dear friend Lady Gaga.”
The singer then selected a track from his album for the couple’s big moment. “If you’re looking for a song to dedicate to your husband, I would say, off this new album of mine, I would go with ‘Risk It All’, track one,” Mars recommended, before adding, “So I want to dedicate this one to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. Michael, this is for you too.”
Lady Gaga And Michael Polansky: Dating, Engagement And More

Gaga and Polansky first sparked romance rumours around New Year’s Eve in 2019 when they were photographed together in Las Vegas. Their relationship soon became public after they spent Super Bowl weekend in Miami in early 2020.
The couple later quarantined together at Gaga’s Malibu home during the COVID-19 pandemic. That period strengthened their bond and marked the beginning of a deeper partnership in both life and work. Gaga once summed up the importance of that relationship in a candid remark about her priorities.
“My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life,” she said.
Their engagement became official in July 2024 when Gaga referred to Polansky as her “fiancé” while speaking to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics. Since then, the pair have appeared together at major events, from award shows to charity initiatives.
