Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha All Along has been in tremendous buzz as the promotion of the show is underway. Fans have been very enthusiastic about the Disney Plus series which surprised the lead star Hahn who made her appearance as Agatha in Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision. The actor recently shared that she has been fascinated to see the intense hype surrounding the show.
Agatha All Along Hype Surprised Kathryn Hahn
The WandaVision spin-off extends Marvel Studios’ witchcraft narrative giving Kathryn Hahn the lead spot to explore the magical realm. Marvel Entertainment has already dropped the trailer for the Disney Plus show and fans have been eagerly waiting for the series to land on the streamer.
Hahn recently had a quick chat with Discussing Film sharing that she was surprised by the reception even before the release of the series. “I just had a blast, no pun intended,” Hahn said of reprising her role in her solo series.

“I just had so much fun making it. But you never know how anything’s gonna land and I surely had no idea this was in my future at all. So, this is all huge. It finally became very real and very, it’s kind of a relief because it was just a feeling of getting back to work, not feeling pressure. This was another very special gig with a character that I love so, so much.”
The dark comedy fantasy superhero miniseries is created by Jac Schaeffer solely focusing on Agatha Harkness. Agatha All Along also stars Joe Locke as Teen, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, Ali Ahn as Alice Wu-Gulliver, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, and Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal. Debra Jo Rupp who played Westview, New Jersey, resident Mrs. Hart in WandaVision is returning to the spin-off as Sharon Davis.
Agatha All Along Is Crucial To The Wanda Mythology
Agatha All Along is definitely an extension to Wanda’s narrative as Marvel Studios intends to keep on extending the saga. After Agatha All Along, the studio will add Paul Bettany’s solo vision series. But the question remained, will Elizabeth Olsen return as the Scarlett Witch in Hahn’s series? Speaking with CinemaBlend, Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation at Marvel Studios, Brad Winderbaum said that the upcoming show will be crucial to the very mythology of Wanda.
“I think that um Agatha is a is a crucial chapter in the in the in the wander in the Wanda mythology um uh you know it it is a it is it’s it’s an Agatha show but it is um you know it’s it’s if you’re a fan of Wanda you know. it’s it’s you’re going to you’re going to enjoy this this step down the road.”

Still, there is no confirmation, and may not be anytime soon. Agatha All Along executive producer Mary Livanos stated, “I think I saw what everyone else saw after the Multiverse of Madness uh seems like Wanda was very much taken off the table after her uh dealings with the Darkhold.” She added, “definitely this show is all about Agatha and her history so uh fans will be uh delighted to learn more about her.”
Still, the hope for Olsen’s return is on the horizon. Olsen recently had a chat with Collider sharing that she is ready to make her MCU comeback. “It’s a character that I love going back to when there’s a way to use her well, and I think I have been lucky that when I started I was used well,” Olsen said. “I think people didn’t know what to do with me for a second there… if there’s a good way to use her I’m always happy to come back,” she added.
Agatha All Along will hit Disney Plus on Sept. 18.
