Deadpool & Wolverine has been in the air since the announcement of the movie as Marvel fans are keeping track of every move including the progress of the movie. Ahead of its release, the director of the movie Shawn Levy made a wild claim stating that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s movie will not be comprehensible for fans in a single watch.

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy has been busy promoting his latest MCU movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the title roles. Detailing the gravity of the movie, the director recently sat for a chat with SFX magazine to make a huge claim about the only MCU movie slate. “There are going to be moments that the audiences are going to love,” Levy told the magazine (via Games Rader).

Adding further, Levy said, “But I’ll also say there are moments where they are going to lose their damn minds – like that times ten billion. Which is not a number, but I’m using it for hyperbole.”

The pair of Reynolds and Jackman has already made a desired buzz among fans. Also, the promotion of the movie has been hilarious and often rated R like the movie itself. Jackman returns to the movie despite seemingly hanging up his boots playing Wolverine and making the character iconic in live-action. Regardless, his decision to return to the character despite his death in Logan, was a jackpot for Marvel Studios which propelled Reynolds and Levy who penned the movie teaming up with Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.

The director who previously directed Reynolds in The Adam Project and Free Guy, also claimed that fans will have to watch the movie more than once as outbursting laughter will be generated in the theaters which might leave them missing some dialogue. Simply, Levy insisted that Deadpool & Wolverine will be a hilarious superhero action comedy fans have never seen on screen before.

“There are some moments in this movie that if you can even hear the dialogue over the laughter, we’ve failed,” Levy told the Magazine. “We went through this in the edit room, when I’m telling Ryan that every time we show a certain scene you can’t hear the three lines because the audience is still laughing at the line that came before,” the Jackman-starrer Real Steel director continued. “Every time we had this very brotherly debate. Ryan usually won. He’s like, ‘Great, they’ll have to see the movie again!'”

Deadpool & Wolverine is the mega preparation of Marvel Studios keeping the R-rated movie as the only theatrical release this year. The movie is already tracking at $160 million-$165 million domestic earnings according to NRG, Screen Engine, and other three-week-in-advance box office tracking services (via Deadline). The movie has already earned a promising fortune with the advance ticket sale.

Deadpool & Wolverine is slated for 26 July release.
