The Big Bang Theory had a good run, in fact, the spin-off of the CBS show Young Sheldon had a good run. Young Sheldon is approaching the series finale and several moments of the show have already been filmed. A report suggests that the final dinner scene of the show was recently wrapped and fans are emotional about it.

If the family dinner scene reminds you of something, you are not alone. Perhaps, the showrunners, Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro are emphasizing the show ending in a similar fashion as Big Bang Theory. Regardless, the news has hit the fans of the show hard. 

The cast of the show also dwelled on the emotional rollercoaster as Young Sheldon is set to end with its 7th season. Previously, the show’s lead Iain Armitage shared an emotional message sharing a set photo alongside his on-screen siblings Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan. “In case you wondered, I love my family,” Armitage wrote on Instagram. In its essence, it’s worth noting that the on-screen Cooper siblings do not bond well. 

“There’s about 200 more people who make Young Sheldon happen and I’m grateful for each of them.”

Alongside his message, Armitage promised the best of Young Sheldon with its final season, “We will make the best seventh season we can possibly make.” 

“And behind the scenes there will be lots of laughter and lots of tears because I love all of these people so much.”

Sheldon’s twin sister Missy played by Revord commented with her tearful eyes, “Can’t stop crying. My family forever!”

Young Sheldon also stars Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper, Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr, and Annie Potts as Constance “Connie” Tucker (Sheldon and his siblings’ Meemaw).

The news of the end of Young Sheldon has made several fans of the show break into tears. Young Sheldon debuted on 25 September 2017 and the show successfully ran its course to the seventh season. Based on one of the primary characters of The Big Bang Theaory’s Sheldon Cooper played by Jim Parsons, the spin-off show also stars the actor as the narrator. Now, as the show is ending, fans took to X with teary eyes as they have found it hard to say goodbye to the show.

Notably, The Big Bang Theory stars Parsons and his on-screen love and wife, Mayim Bialik are set to reprise their role in the final season of Young Sheldon. The duo has been pretty excited to get back to the role for one more time after The Big Bang Theory ended in 2019.

The first 6 seasons of Young Sheldon are available to stream on Netflix and Max.
