This brilliant space thriller will offer you a blend of some really astonishing visual treats along with an emotional journey. Created by  Peter Harness, Constellation stars Noomi Rapace as Jo Ericsson. She meets a collision in space and returns to Earth to discover that “key pieces of her life” appear to be missing. 

According to Apple, the series is an “action-packed space adventure that is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.”  

The show is directed by Joseph Cedar, Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Michelle MacLaren and stars Jonathan Banks, and James D’Arcy along with Noomi Rapace. Over eight tense hours, the show takes us into the darker aspects of human psychology as well. The show currently has a 71% score on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Manhunt

Carl Franklin; John Dahl; and Eva Sørhaug directed this conspiracy thriller based on Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer; by James L. Swanson. There are 7 episodes in total of Manhunt. This is a conspiracy thriller about one of the best-known but least understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, reads official Apple TV+. It stands on an 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Hijack

I am very much sure that this series will leave you spellbound. Directed by: Jim Field Smith; and Mo Ali, this is a story of a plan that take off for a seven-hour journey from Dubai to London. But eventually, it gets hijacked by a group. Idris Elba plays Sam Nelson, an accomplished corporate negotiator who finds himself trying his skills to save the passengers as authorities scramble on the ground for solutions. If you want to enjoy an engrossing scenario, then it’s for you. Currently, it has 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Severance

Created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller; Aoife McArdle, Severance is an American science fiction psychological thriller that focuses on Lumon Industries, a mysterious company where employees have undergone a controversial severance process. This show talks about the work-life balance and to what extent people go to maintain it. Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, and Christopher Walken all gave some stellar performances and that is the reason, it became an instant success among fans and critics. The series received 14 nominations at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022 and won two awards for main title design and musical score. It is standing at a 97% Rotten Tomatoes score. 

Slow Horses

Slow Horses is a British spy thriller television series based on the Slough House series of novels by Mick Herron. The series premiered on Apple TV+ on 1 April 2022 and was renewed for two subsequent seasons. Following the success, it gets another season which is slated for a release sometime in December this year. Starring Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, and Kristin Scott Thomas, according to the Apple TV storyline, it follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb, as they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces. Apple has officially given the green light for a fifth season of the BAFTA-nominated drama series.

 Everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected,” reads the logline for Season 5. “After all, Jackson Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, ‘London Rules’ should always apply.” 

Season 5 is set to be adapted from the fifth book in Herron’s series, London Rules. Other details are not disclosed yet. The show enjoys a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Bad Sisters

Bad Sisters, will be a series worth mentioning for years to come for its compelling and nuanced storyline. This dark comedy-thriller stars Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, Saise Quinn, Michael Smiley. 

The tight-knit Garvey sisters have always looked out for each other. When their brother-in-law winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent and set their sights on the sisters, all of whom had ample reasons to kill him,” read the official storyline. 

Based on the Flemish series Clan, Bad Sisters was renewed for season 2 in early November 2022. It is anticipated to be released on Apple TV Plus in the first half of 2024. This successful show is a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
