Like its 2015 predecessor, Inside Out 2 has carried out the legacy of the franchise with an astonishing reception from fans and critics. The movie went on to become a box-office marvel and is still the talk of the town. It is almost certain that the movie will be in the Oscar race for Best Animated Movie but Pedro Pascal’s recent movie The Wild Robot is set to make the race difficult as according to some audiences, the movie is better than Inside Out 2.

The Wild Robot has made the hype of the movie even stronger after the movie’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. While Kelsey Mann’s proved to be one of the biggest and most celebrated animated movies of the year, The Wild Robot has just entered the race.

Written for the screen and directed by Chris Sanders, The Wild Robot is based on Peter Brown’s book series of the same name. The movie stars Lupita Nyong’o as ROZZUM unit 7134— a discarded robot drifts ashore on a forested island. Over time, the robot learns to survive in her new surroundings, figuring out how to connect with the local animals. Eventually, it becomes the adoptive mother of a small gosling named Brightbill.

Fisk is a mischievous fox and the first animal that Roz helps and befriends brilliantly played by Pedro Pascal. Additionally, Kit Connor plays Brightbill, Catherine O’Hara voices Pinktail, Longneck is voiced by Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu voices Vontra, Matt Berry will appear as Paddler, Ving Rhames as Thunderbolt, and legendary Mark Hamill plays Thorn, a grizzly bear.

Peter Brown's The Wild Robot is a beloved, award-winning #1 NYTimes bestseller & deservedly so. I knew if Dreamworks' animated movie version captured even a fraction of the book's appeal, it would be a winner. Well folks, they outdid themselves: It's an INSTANT CLASSIC!😍👍 pic.twitter.com/60w8JkJc2D

Recently, the Star Wars veteran took to his X to promote The Wild Robot, “Peter Brown’s The Wild Robot is a beloved, award-winning #1 NYTimes bestseller & deservedly so,” Hamill wrote. “I knew if Dreamworks’ animated movie version captured even a fraction of the book’s appeal, it would be a winner. Well folks, they outdid themselves: It’s an INSTANT CLASSIC!” he concluded the post with two emojis.

THE WILD ROBOT is a family sci-fi film for the ages!

This mash-up of natural world discovery, dystopian futurism, and found family soars in the hands of skilled cinematic storyteller Chris Sanders. Beyond sublime visuals, the emotional depth and big ideas make it unforgettable. pic.twitter.com/itdk7WtkP8

THE WILD ROBOT is incredible. It starts as a very simple story, and then it continues to evolve by adding new characters, new situations, new dangers. The animation is stunning, but it’s the score from Kris Bowers that soars. You will absolutely feel it in your chest. #TIFF24 pic.twitter.com/ztbHaOrM6q

THE WILD ROBOT lives alongside Wall-E and The Iron Giant in the pantheon of robots too good for us in a striking animated story about belonging. One that’ll make us want to strive to be better than who we are. Chris Sanders, one of the best American storytellers in animation rn. pic.twitter.com/G0Q6BIhK82

#TheWildRobot is phenomenal. STUNNING animation across the board. Every single frame is vibrant and brimming with life. And the painterly animation style so well suits the story/source material. The Wild Robot: stunning animation, a simple but sweet story, and Kris Bowers doing a better Thomas Newman score than Thomas Newman has done recently all combine for an absolute haymaker of emotion. One of the few films to make me cry in the theater in recent memory pic.twitter.com/syqmUCT4Kl

With such a glorious reception, the movie sets the bar of expectation too high and it is possibly going to be a huge hit as the director has several wonderful credits to his name including How to Train Your Dragon, and Lilo & Stitch.

The Wild Robot will hit the theaters on September 27.
