Speaking directly to fans via Weverse, RM shared the exciting update: “We are planning to focus on creating new songs from July. Our album is coming out next spring. And there will be a global tour for sure.” With that, ARMY — the group’s devoted fanbase — went into celebration mode, with hashtags like #BTSisBack and #OT7 trending worldwide.

The last full-group BTS album (2022) was Proof, which celebrated their history. But the next 2026 project will be much more monumental – it will be the renaissance of the group in different times with different delivery. The album production is in the United States, and it represents more than a musical transition; it also represents a pioneering move to reconnect with their rightful position in the quickly evolving industry, where AI music and algorithm-generated content rule the roost.
All of the members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, have finished their required military service, so fans are now experiencing an incredible instance in K-pop, which is the reunion of a complete original lineup, more mature and experienced, and original songs at hand.

As the members of the popular group of BTS fulfilled their duties to their nation, their label, Hybe Co., encountered both gains and losses. Following the resignation of the CEO, Scooter Braun, to Hybe America and increasing tensions between the agency and some groups, such as NewJeans, the company relied most on acts such as Seventeen and rookie project Katseye to be market-relevant. However, now that BTS has returned, the label has gotten an opportunity of a lifetime to reclaim its dominance around the globe.
That notwithstanding, the influence that BTS has had never really worn out. Their solo work and brand collabs of high value, along with the never-ending support of ARMY, made sure that they remained culturally present even when they were not on the stage.
At this point, BTS are not only returning as a band with a new album and international tour coming up; they are sparking off a movement across the world.
