Actor Tom Holland recently spoke to Deadline and from what he said, we can assume that he is really excited to be a part of Spider-Man 4 just like we want it to happen.

Though, nothing about the movie is confirmed as of now, be its plot or director or writer, Holland’s recent remarks fuels up the speculation about the movie.

Opening up about the fourth installment of Spider-Man films, he will always want to do a Spider-Man movie, because it is something that gave him recognition all over the world.

“The simple answer is that I’ll always want to do Spider-Man films,” Holland said during the interview. “I owe my life and career to Spider-Man. So the simple answer is yes. I’ll always want to do more.”

He said that “the best in the business” are already working on the plot for the film, but they also focusing on one thing, that is not to overdone the same thing.

“We have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until we’ve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect. The third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.”

He further added, “This is the first time in this process that I’ve been part of the creative so early. It’s just a process where I’m watching and learning. It’s just a really fun stage for me. Like I said, everyone wants it to happen. But we want to make sure we’re not overdoing the same things.”

Fans Want a Street Level Film

Marvel and Sony could take Spider-Man 4 to any direction after the intense ending in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It can be street level or might delve into a multiverse story.

Spiderman franchise in the MCU is 3 for 3 right now; they should just go back to street level like Homecoming and have some cameos + new characters.

I think Spider-Man 4 should go street level NYC. It should connect into Daredevil, Kingpin, and Jessica Jones. Maybe Kingpin is mayor at this point. The end of the SM3 has no one knowing Peter Parker is Spider-Man – so there are a lot of options for him to focus on NYC and…

Spider-Man: No Way Home released in December 2021. It also starred Zendaya, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong in pivotal characters. The Marvel action-thriller, for the first time, brought the concept of multiverse.

While Marvel Studios wants Spider-Man 4 to make a street-level corner of the MCU, Sony is thinking for the project to deal with the multiverse, maybe they are hoping to repeat No Way Home‘s massive success. And here, fans are mostly with the decision of Marvel Studios.

Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man movies can be streamed on a variety of platforms from Disney+ to Netflix.
