Zoe Saldaña has been the box office queen with three highest-grossing films of all time— Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way of Water to her credit. The Hollywood star has recently appeared at Variety‘s Power of Women ceremony and delivered an emotional speech to make a change to tackle children in poverty.
Zoe Saldaña’s Delivered A Heartfelt Message For A Wonderful Cause

The Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy fame Zoe Saldaña has recently delivered a wonderful message for a social cause. At the Los Angeles gala on October 24, the actor represented the non-profit organization Baby2Baby which provides diapers, formula, clothing, and cribs to children living in poverty all over the United States.
Saldaña shared that Baby2Baby co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein have inspired her to join the cause as Angel ambassadors for the organization. “Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, the co-founders of Baby2Baby, I am so grateful for all that you do, and I’m honored to get to be a vessel to help bring attention and awareness to the organization that you built together,” Saldaña said (via Variety).
The 46-year-old went on to add, “You are truly a dynamic duo. Your impact on the lives of families who are struggling, and your dedication and tireless efforts to provide essential items for children living in poverty have helped so many families across the country.”
Saldaña further hailed Baby2Baby as a “beacon of hope” which has provided over 450 million essential items to families in need over the past 13 years.
Zoe Saldaña Says She Is Worried About Upcoming Presidential Election

Saldaña has recently starred in Jacques Audiard’s musical comedy, Emilia Pérez. At the Los Angeles premiere of the film, the actor showed her concern for the upcoming presidential election. “I am worried,” Saldaña told Variety’s Marc Malkin. “But then again, I was also worried in 2016…Of course, I’m scared and worried, but, I have faith that we’re going to choose a leader that best represents who we really are as human beings,” she said.
The actor continued, “I also have a lot of faith in my nation, in America. I have a lot of faith in people in the world. I know that more people than not want to be on the right side of history…” The Avengers star also reflected on how much time people spend judging rather than loving, adding that, in the end, she doesn’t feel the need to understand everyone and their choices.
She went on to add, “I just know that I need to make room for everybody and their choices, and that’s super important and that has to do with the deep level of respect that I have for people, and I can only hope that others are feeling like me, you know? I have no other choice but to be this way. I’m a mom, so I’m raising kids to be hopeful and loving and kind and gentle and non-judgmental.”
Although the actor didn’t specify whom she is supporting, it is worth noting that previously she openly endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for president and vice president in the 2020 election.
Democratic Party’s Kamala Harris is contesting against the Republican Party’s candidate Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential election on November 5.
