There are some other big names from the industry including Rihanna, and Jay-Z. But their net worth is not solely from music. It came via entertainment holdings, fashion brands and alcohol companies, among other ventures.
The world has 2,781 people with fortunes exceeding $1 billion at present which is an increase of 141 in 2023, according to Forbes’ annual ranking of the world’s richest people.
LVMH French luxury goods titan Bernard Arnault and his family topped the list with an estimated $233bn, followed by Musk, the owner of Tesla and X, formerly Twitter who has seen some drop in his net worth and currently has an estimated net worth of $195bn.
“It’s been an amazing year for the world’s richest people, with more billionaires around the world than ever before,” said Chase Peterson-Withorn, Forbes’ wealth editor. “A record-breaking 14 centibillionaires [$100bn] have 12-figure fortunes. The Eras Tour will continue on to Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, Lyon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Zürich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw, Vienna and London.
And, just like last year, Swift will see a hike in her bank account. Pollstar projects the Eras Tour will once again reach $1 billion within their eligibility window, meaning Swift is likely to bring in over $2 billion over the span of the tour.
