Scarlett Johansson has been in the buzz as the actor was reportedly joining the franchise’s fourth installment Jurassic World 4. The actor has recently confirmed the previous report while sharing details of the development of the movie. Johansson is busy with the promotional tour of Greg Berlanti’s romance comedy Fly Me to the Moon starring alongside Channing Tatum.

The Jurassic World franchise has created fascinating box-office records. Undoubtedly, the franchise is one of the highly recognized movie series with enormous fanbase. Who would not want to join the franchise? After the end of her MCU tenure with Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson has joined another huge franchise and the actor might have a bigger role spanning more than one movie.
When ComicBook.com asked the actor about her feelings about joining the franchise, she immediately responded that it means “Everything” to her. “I’m an enormous Jurassic Park fan,” she said of the franchise based on the prehistoric fossil relics coming to life in the theme park amusement for humans. “It’s one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am.”

Of course, the emotion of being in the same franchise as one of her childhood fascination is understandably huge. The Jurassic World trilogy was led by her former MCU fellow star Chris Pratt who played Star-Lord in the superhero brand. Jurassic World, the first installment in the trilogy made a stunning box office haul claiming a staggering $1.6 billion at the global box office, the following movies in the trilogy also made prominent $1 billion mark but it was far from the original movie’s record.

Johansson also gave the latest update on the fourth installment of the franchise revealing screenwriter/director David Koepp who has Secret Window, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and several other titles to his writing credit, is penning the movie.
“The script is so incredible,” Johansson told the outlet. “David Koepp wrote it. He returned after like 30 years to write the script. He’s so passionate about it, which is so awesome.”
Reportedly, Godzilla and The Creator director Gareth Edwards is set to helm the Johansson starrer project. Other details including the cast and release date of the movie are still under wraps.
