Jennifer Lopez has finally opened up about her views on marriage after a string of high-profile relationships and four divorces. During her ongoing Up All Night tour in Europe, the multi-talented singer made headlines after directly responding to a fan sign that read, “J Lo, marry me?” Her answer was as candid as it was telling: “I think I’m done with that,” she told the crowd in Bilbao, Spain. “I’ve tried that a few times.” And with that, J.Lo seemed to draw a line under her tumultuous romantic past.
Jennifer Lopez Breaks Her Silence on Marriage

Jennifer Lopez’s love life has been one of the most publicized in pop culture history. Her first marriage was to Ojani Noa in 1997, but it lasted barely a year. She then wed backup dancer Cris Judd in 2001, which ended by 2003. Her third marriage, however, lasted a decade—she tied the knot with singer Marc Anthony in 2004, and the pair welcomed twins Emme and Max, now 17, before calling it quits in 2014.
Marc Anthony himself has walked down the aisle four times, including his current marriage to 26-year-old Nadia Ferreira. Speaking to Page Six, Anthony admitted he’s the “wrong person to ask about the key to a successful marriage.”

Then came her most recent and perhaps most talked-about union—with Ben Affleck. After rekindling their early 2000s romance, the couple married in Las Vegas in 2022 and celebrated again with an intimate ceremony in Georgia. But even that love story didn’t last. Lopez quietly separated from Affleck in spring 2024, filed for divorce that August, and finalized it in January.
JLo is Now Focused on Herself and the Music

Despite the emotional rollercoaster, Lopez is far from slowing down. Just last week, she kicked off the European leg of her tour with high energy, telling fans she felt “better than … ever.” While performing “Wreckage of You,” a deeply personal new track she said came to her “when [she] was up all night,” it became clear that Lopez is channeling her heartache into art.
Though Lopez and Affleck had put their $68 million Los Angeles mansion up for sale, it struggled to find a buyer for over a year. “It was a business decision that they made together,” a source told PEOPLE, confirming they ultimately pulled it off the market.
With her tour running until August 12, ending in Sardinia, Italy, Lopez seems determined to move forward, not with a new ring on her finger, but with her heart on the stage.
