The legal storm surrounding It Ends With Us continues to intensify, with actress Isabela Ferrer now thrust into the center of the dispute. Ferrer, who played the younger version of Blake Lively’s character Lily Bloom in the film, has accused director and co-star Justin Baldoni of harassing and attempting to manipulate her response to a subpoena connected to Blake Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against him.
Isabela Ferrer Claims Justin Baldoni Tried to “harass and control” Her Response

Court filings reveal that Isabela Ferrer was first pulled into the legal battle in February 2025 when Blake Lively’s team subpoenaed her for communications related to Baldoni. At that point, Ferrer sought indemnity for legal costs, something her acting contract with Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios entitled her to. However, Ferrer’s lawyers claim the studio attached an unusual condition: she would be compensated only if she surrendered control of her response to them.

According to the filing, Baldoni’s camp allegedly attempted to dictate what Ferrer could or could not provide, preventing her from submitting documents that might “reveal the true facts.” Her attorneys argue that this demand went far beyond professional boundaries. “From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer,” the filing read.
The young actress has further alleged that Baldoni’s recent motion against her was not a legitimate attempt to secure cooperation but instead an effort to harass her and “draw her deeper into litigation she has tried to avoid.” Ferrer’s team described the move as “another attempt to manipulate the press, to create havoc on a young, up-and-coming and talented actress, and to bully Ms. Ferrer.” They are now urging the court to deny Baldoni’s motion and impose sanctions against him.
Blake Lively’s Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni Adds Fuel to the Ongoing Drama

The accusations from Ferrer arrive as Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni continues to dominate headlines. Lively has alleged sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us and claims Baldoni’s publicity team orchestrated a smear campaign against her. While her case remains active, a related claim against PR strategist Jed Wallace was dismissed last month.
Baldoni, for his part, has consistently denied the allegations. Earlier this year, he countersued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane for defamation and extortion, seeking $400 million. That suit, however, was thrown out by a judge in June, weakening his legal counteroffensive.
Now, with Isabela Ferrer’s accusations entering the record, the case grows more complicated. Ferrer’s lawyers argue that she has already faced threats and online hate since Baldoni’s filing, calling his tactics a “broader pattern of conduct.” While Ferrer insists she will comply with any valid court order, she has made it clear she will not be “intimidated or extorted” into submission.
The unfolding legal battle paints a picture of escalating tensions, where not just reputations but careers are at stake. With a trial set for March 2026, the spotlight on Ferrer, Baldoni, and Lively is unlikely to dim anytime soon.
