The private world of Rachel Brosnahan and her husband, Jason Ralph, has suddenly been dragged into the spotlight, thanks to a single tap of a “like” button. The alleged liking of the comment involving David Corenswet sparked a massive discussion online among fans.
Jason Ralph Likes Instagram Comments About His Marriage to Rachel Brosnahan

In screenshots now making the rounds online, Ralph appeared to “like” a cutting comment under one of his Instagram posts. It was a remark that called him a “cuckold” while taking aim at Rachel Brosnahan’s on-screen chemistry with Superman co-star David Corenswet. The full post read—
“It’s genuinely sad to see your career being tucked out to be remembered as a cuckold because your wife couldn’t handle herself with her co-actor. Like bro… let’s have some self love and stand up for yourself man, leave her to be with him if she wants that much at the end of the day.”

The interaction reportedly took place beneath a quirky photo Ralph had posted — a banana smashed against a sidewalk. Not long after, comments on his account were disabled. While some believe Ralph was trolling, others took the action as a tacit agreement with the sentiment.
Rachel Brosnahan Stays Private About Her Relationship

Brosnahan, 35, has been candid in the past about her reluctance to discuss her personal life. Speaking to PEOPLE in 2019, she explained:
“I’ve been quite private about my personal life for a few reasons. The first being that it’s just that: personal. Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last two years. We both find this double standard problematic and frustrating and opted to redirect those conversations to our work.”
The couple first met in 2013 on the set of the indie film I’m Obsessed With You: But You’ve Got to Leave Me Alone and quietly married years later, with Brosnahan confirming their status in 2019. Ralph even joined her in the final seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Meanwhile, Corenswet, 32, is married to Julia Warner. The two wed in 2023 and welcomed their first child in 2024. During recent press for Superman, Corenswet revealed that Warner’s pregnancy news arrived just two days after he learned he would screen test for the iconic Clark Kent role. “We had these two quite huge secrets… and that was intense,” he told PEOPLE.
As James Gunn’s Superman continues its box office climb past $500 million worldwide, the buzz around Brosnahan and Corenswet’s electric on-screen pairing isn’t slowing down. Regardless, the moment happened just before Superman’s digital release.
Superman is available to stream on VOD services and is also showing in theaters.
