Donald Trump was at McDonald’s. Ahead of the upcoming Presidential Election, former United States President Donald Trump was seen serving food at a McDonald’s outlet as part of his election campaign. While the video of his campaign went viral, The Boys‘ social media team has taken a moment to react to Trump’s recent drive. Vought International has mocked the campaign with her own satirical post on social media which divided fans right away.
The Boys Mocked Donald Trump’s Recent Election Campaign
Prime Video’s flagship show The Boys has a wide global fanbase. The show has also been seen being engaged on social media as a vehicle for political commentary. Recently, the show’s Vought International social page on X has satirically mocked the Republican presidential nominee and former U.S. President Donald Trump for his McDonald’s campaign for the Presidential Election on November 5.
In a recent post, the official X handle of the page wrote, “Growing up, Homelander dreamed of working at his local Vought A Burger. Recently, his wish came true, as Vought shut down a restaurant and staged pre-selected customers, so Homelander could ‘serve’ ‘people’ ‘food.’ Thanks, Homelander, for showing everyone how you’re a true man of the people!”
With the caption, the post also added a photograph of Homelander (Antony Starr) in the satirical ad showing that he was serving Vought Burgers at just $5.99. The text on the ad reads, “Homelander serves up high quality beef.”
Fans Are Divided Over The Boys Mockery Of Donald Trump
The recent campaign of Donald Trump has gained a lot of attention and Vought International’s post right after the campaign added the sauce to the long-time political satire of the show. It is no secret that The Boys has presented Homelander— the show’s primary character who is presented as the narcissistic villain— as Trump. And the recent post from the page also added to their continuous political commentary but it has certainly divided fans on the internet. Here’s what fans are saying about the post—
You didn’t have to get into politics.
