Elizabeth Olsen emerged as a stunning performer beyond the umbrella of Marvel Studios. She has appeared in several acclaimed projects including His Three Daughters and The Assessment. While her fate in Marvel Studios remained unknown, the actor has all the best wishes for her WandaVision co-star Kathryn Hahn.
Elizabeth Olsen Praises Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha All Along
Kathryn Hahn is set to appear in Marvel Studios’ Agatha All Along for Disney Plus. The show has been in tremendous buzz among fans which even surprised Hahn. Amid the hype of the show, Elizabeth Olsen has recently commented on the WandaVision spin-off.
“I’m really excited for Kathryn [Hahn]. That cast is incredibly fun. I’ve only heard bits and pieces from them, and Kathryn has been so sweet along the way, always sending messages, because it seems like there’s a presence in some way… for her,” Olsen told Josh Horowitz in a recent interview during her promotional tour of The Assessment starring alongside Alicia Vikander and Himesh Patel.
Hahn’s Agatha All Along will follow the astonishing journey of the titular witch on her path to reclaim her powers after Wanda trapped her as Agnes the “Nosy Neighbour” in Westview. Agatha will claw her way out of the spell with the help of the witches in her coven. The show also stars Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
Elizabeth Olsen Was Surprised By Robert Downey Jr’s MCU Return
Olsen got the news of Robert Downey Jr’s MCU return in rather a hilarious manner. RDJ has had a stunning legacy in Marvel Studios since his debut at the inception of the cinematic franchise with the first installment of Iron Man. His glorious tenure seemingly ended with Iron Man’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame saving the universe and reversing Thanos’ blip.
However, in a staggering surprise, Marvel Studios has revealed that RDJ is returning to the superhero brand after his first Oscar win for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. With the actor, the Russo Brothers are also set to make their return to direct two of the upcoming Avengers movies where RDJ will play the titular villain Doctor Doom.
Olsen shared that someone texted her the news of her co-star’s MCU return and she thought it was quite serious news but turned out to be RDJ’s return. Such was the impact of the news. “I got a text message from someone saying, ‘whoa that’s crazy news’ and I was like, ‘what happened?’ and truly assuming that there was something some active shooter, you know that’s what you assume when someone says how about that news,” she told Horowitz.
“And then I found out they’re talking about Robert, um, and I was like, ‘oh I have no idea’ and it was like that.”
RDJ’s return is definitely the biggest surprise Marvel Studios has pulled off. His Doom appearance will replace the Kang narrative after Jonathan Majors’ dismissal from the studio.
