Is Sony Universe entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
It seems possible considering the small scene teased in the trailer of Tom Hardy’s latest Anitihero flick, Venom: The Last Dance. While the trailer has fascinated most fans, two scenes in particular have touched made fans think twice. In one scene, many fans believe Aunt May and Peter Parker appeared frightened but that is not confirmed as of yet.
Is Sony-Marvel Universe Swap Happening In Venom: The Last Dance?
Venom: The Last Dance is all set to debut in theaters with a banger last dance and fans are excited to see Tom Hardy in action partnering with the titular symbiote, Venom fighting crime, eating the brains of criminals, and a lot more.
Venom: The Last Dance will also mark the end of Hardy’s trilogy where he played the lead Eddie Brock. The movie teased the immaculate action throughout the movie, as per the logline, “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
Now, the trailer of the movie reveals capturing a small piece of gooey symbiote substance apparently in the exact same spot as the 2021 MCU blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home. This has certainly raised several questions and most prominent of all would be how this would make any sense.
Fans Are Baffled By The Universe Swap Scene In Venom: The Last Dance Trailer
The trailer of the movie has certainly excited fans but it raises the same amount of questions as the Spider-Man No Way Home connection which, for many fans, seems undigestible. One fan rightly pointed out that the symbiote-capturing scene was not just the same bar, it also had the same bartender, crazy enough? What is Sony cooking? Catch the epic reactions from fans below—
DID THEY TAKES TOM’S MCU SYMBIOTE BACK TO THE OTHER UNIVERSE TOO?!!! #VenomTheLastDance pic.twitter.com/Rd1fWUmLeO

That is shot for shot exactly how the NWH post credit scene was filmed. Same bar, same bartender, same spot also looks the same. So I kinda doubt it’s a completely different symbiote than the one teased at the end of No Way Home.

Then it could possibly be some type of multiverse related. But it truly wouldn't make any sense. Because why would you set up the hype for venom to come soon to the Spider-Man Universe, then to take it all the away from the fans

Just a parallel I think : in the mcu universe venom is unknown so there is nobody to take the symbiote. When Eddy got back to his universe he left again a symbiote drop and in this one hé is captured cause venom is already known by the army

I think it’s a variant, his hair is longer. If he was the guy from the mcu then he couldn’t have gotten longer hair without a lot of time passing, in which the symbiote would have gone or bonded in that time

The bartender is the same character he has short hair in NWH, he has long hair here which makes me think he’s a varient, the hotel in the post credit scene, was modernised but looked identical, I think although the piece is in the MCU it’s just mirrored in both Tom’s & Sony’s

HOW??!!! this was supposed to be in the MCU??

Bro, how is that working? Trailer is from Eddie's universe but the last scene is from the MCU universe, what?

Regardless, Venom: The Last Dance looks promising for a trilogy ender. The trilogy might end on a strong note following the legacy of the previous movies in the franchise. Venom: The Last Dance also stars Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor and as revealed in the trailer they are after Hardy to catch him. Kelly Marcel-directed final movie of the trilogy will see Venom and Eddie trying to tackle the biggest threat yet— both earthly and from the world of Venom.
Venom: The Last Dance is slated for October 25 release.
