Hayden Christensen played Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise appearing in movies including Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The actor also appeared in Dawson’s Ahsoka marking their character’s reunion since the 2008 animated movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Will Hayden Christensen Return In Ahsoka Season 2?
Rosario Dawson-led Disney+ show Ahsoka season 1 was a massive hit among Star Wars fans. Also, Christensen’s appearance in the show has elevated the show’s massive appeal. So, it is possible for fans to see Hayden Christensen reprising his Anakin Skywalker one more time in the upcoming season of the Star Wars show.
Christensen made his Anakin Skywalker return in the fourth and fifth episodes of Ahsoka, Fallen Jedi, and Shadow Warrior joining Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano. Now, many fans are wondering if the actor will appear in the upcoming season of the highly anticipated show.
When asked about his return, Christensen rather gave a vague answer during his chat with Entertainment Weekly. “Look, as to whether or not we see Anakin again, I don’t know,” the actor said. “But as evidenced by that last shot of the series, he’s with her in spirit, and they continue to have this connection.”
However, it’s worth hoping that he will return again as fans were overjoyed seeing his character back on screen in live-action.
Rosario Dawson Teased Potential Return Of Christensen Return In Ahsoka Season 2
Dawson has more faith in Christensen’s return in the upcoming season. “I will just say that as she puts on that hologram of him, you see that there’s several of them,” Dawson explained. “So I think there’s that potential,” she teased making the hype even more intense than ever.
The actor went on to add, “But I love, also, not just being relegated to those messages and things that we might be able to see more of in the future. We’ve gotten to see from the films now into the show that he’s been able to become this Force Ghost that brings him back to Anakin, who at the end of the day, when he went and ascended to that space, that’s what he became.”
Further, Dawson said that she was happy with Ahsoka getting to that “access point.” She continued, “I love that that peace has continued and you get to see it reflected in him that he gets to enjoy seeing what his legacy has become in a different way.”
The Men in Black II star also expects to explore more as she addressed the showrunner of the show, Dave Filoni if he is listening, “I hope we get to explore that more, because the road ahead is not going to be easy. And I think that’s been one of the really cool things about this story is a lot of these folks have been able to continue. I’m very into that sort of intergenerational openness of wisdom being passed on, and I would hope that she’d still be able to access that wisdom.”
Christensen’s return elevated the growth of Ahsoka’s character as the guiding light, but fans are wondering what his return would serve as it has created a cloud of doubt among Star Wars enthusiasts.

And now they’re just milking him 💀

I hope this isn't true. It made sense in S1 because it progressed Ahsoka character arc forward, giving her chance to reconcile with her past by coming face to face with him. I don't Anakin just appearing for fan service's sake.

Okay but why? His appearance in shadow warrior was important and his ghost was a fun cameo but any more? Unless there’s some training with ghost him sure but otherwise it’s unneeded. Ik he’s the main character of the saga but like these are separate stories. Ashoka has moved out

will they ever let go of darth vader and make new, completely separate stories?

I just couldn’t get into this one. Aside from a few, the characters were unrelatable

this franchise cant move on can it. the audience will get their cheap fanservice then swear-by this is high art, all the while this franchise continues to die

While I’m happy for Hayden, this doesn’t need to be done and I fear they’ll never actually move on from this section of time in Star Wars
